Just a Dream - Nelly

I was thinkin about her, thinkin about me.
Thinkin about us, what we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah; it was only just a dream.
So I travel back, down that road.
Who she come back? No one knows.
I realize, yeah, it was only just a dream.

I was at the top and I was like I'm at the basement.
Number one spot and now she found her a replacement.
I swear now I can't take it, knowing somebody's got my baby.
And now you ain't around, baby I can't think.
Shoulda put it down. Shoulda got that ring.
Cuz I can still feel it in the air.
See her pretty face run my fingers through her hair.

My lover, my life. My shorty, my wife.
She left me, I'm tied.
Cuz I knew that it just ain't right.

I was thinkin about her, thinkin about me.
Thinkin about us, what we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah; it was only just a dream.
So I travel back, down that road.
Who she come back? No one knows.
I realize, yeah, it was only just a dream.

When I be ridin man I swear I see her face at every turn.
Tryin to get my usher over, I can let it burn.
And I just hope she notice she the only one I yearn for.
Oh I miss her when will I learn?

Didn't give her all my love, I guess now I got my payback.
Now I'm in the club thinkin all about my baby.
Hey, she was so easy to love. But wait, I guess that love wasn't enough.

I'm goin through it every time that I'm alone.
And now i'm missin, wishin she'd pick up the phone.
But she made a decision that she wanted to move one.
Cuz I was wrong.

And I was thinkin about her, thinkin about me.
Thinkin about us, what we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah; it was only just a dream.
So I travel back, down that road.
Who she come back? No one knows.
I realize, yeah, it was only just a dream.

If you ever loved somebody put your hands up.
If you ever loved somebody put your hands up.
And now they're gone and you wish you could give them everything.
I said, if you ever loved somebody put your hands up.
If you ever loved somebody put your hands up.
And now they're gone and you wish you could give them everything.

I was thinkin about her, thinkin about me.
Thinkin about us, what we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah; it was only just a dream.
So I travel back, down that road.
Who she come back? No one knows.
I realize, yeah, it was only just a dream.

And I was thinkin about her, thinkin about me.
Thinkin about us, what we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah; it was only just a dream.
So I travel back, down that road.
Who she come back? No one knows.
I realize, yeah, it was only just a dream

Firework - Katy Perry

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting throught the wind
Wanting to start again...

Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards
One blow from caving in...

Do you ever feel already buried deep
Six feet under scream
But no one seems to hear a thing...

Do you know that there's
Still a chance for you
Cause there's a spark in you...

You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July...

Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y...

Baby you're a firework
Come on let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gonna leave 'em fallin'
Down-own-own...

You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow...

Maybe you're reason why
All the doors are closed
So you can open one that leads
You to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will blow
And when it's time, you'll know...

You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July...

Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y...

Baby you're a firework
Come on slet your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gunna leave 'em fallin'
Down-own-own

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
It's always been inside of you, you, you
And now it's time to let it through...

Cause baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y...

Baby you're a firework
Come on slet your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"
You're gonna leave 'em goin "Oh, oh, oh!"

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon...

What time is it?

Oberve as frases abaixo:

It's 7:00 p.m.
I have to work from 4:00 p.m to 2:00 a.m.

It's 12 o'clock. - São 12 horas em ponto.

Também podemos dizer: It's 12 a.m. ou It's 12 p.m., conforme o período do dia: se for meia-noite é a.m.; se for meio-dia é p.m. A partir do meio-dia até 23h59 é p.m.

It's half past ten. São dez e meia.
It's ten thirty. São dez e meia.

Obsere os exemplos:

It's ten after three. - São três e dez.
It's three ten. - São três e dez.

It's a quarter after three. - São três e quinze.
Its three fifteen.

It's twenty to four. - Faltam vinte para as quatro.
It´s three forty. - São três e quarenta.

It´s a quarter to four. - Faltam quinze para as quatro.
It's three fourty-five. - São três e quarenta e cinco.

Observação:
  • A preposição utilizada com horário é at.
I start work at 9:00.
I get home at 5:00.
  • As preposições usadas com períodos do dia são in e at.
        the morning
in     the afternoon                   at     midday
        the evening                              night

Vídeo Verb to be

Simple Present

Afirmativa                         Negativa                                  Interrogativa

I want                               I don't want                             Do I want?
You want                         You don't want                         Do you want?
He wants                          He doesn't want                       Does he want?
She wants                         She doesn't want                      Does she want?
It wants                             It doesn't want                         Does it want?
We want                           We don't want                         Do we want?
You want                          You don't want                        Do you want?
They want                         They don't want                       Do they want?

Ex: I want - Eu desejo/ quero.
Note que somente usamos os auxiliares Do/ Does na forma negativa e na interrogativa de verbos comuns como o want, like, play, etc. Lembre-se que o auxiliar Does é usado somente nas 3ª pessoas do singular, He, She, It.

Ex: catch - tomar, pegar: He catches, She catches, It catches.
go - ir: He goes, She goes, It goes
miss - perder: He misses, She misses, It misses

Ex: study - estudar: He studies, She studies, It studies.
try - tentar: He tries, She tries, It tries.

Ex: I do exercises.

Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)

There's a stranger in my bed
There's a pounding in my head
Glitter all over the room
Pink flamingos in the pool
I smell like a mini-bar
DJs passed out in the yard
Barbies on the barbecue
This a hickey or a bruise

(Pre-Chorus)
Pictures of last night
Ended up online
I'm screwed
Oh well
It's a blacktop blur
But I'm pretty sure
It ruled
Damn

(Chorus)
Last Friday night
Yeah, we danced on tabletops
And we took too many shots
Think we kissed but I forgot
Last Friday night
Yeah, we maxed our credit cards
Then got kicked out of the bar
So we hit the boulevard
Last Friday night
We went streaking in the park
Skinny dipping in the dark
Then had a ménage à trois
Last Friday night
Yeah, I think we broke the law
Always say we're gonna stop
This Friday night
Do it all again
This Friday night
Do it all again

Trying to connect the dots
Don't know what to tell my boss
Think the city towed my car
Chandelier is on the floor
Ripped my favorite party dress
Warrants out for my arrest
Think I need a ginger ale
That was such an epic fail

(Pre-Chorus)

(Chorus)
T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F.
T.G.I.F. T.G.I.F.
